15th May 2015-Dee's diary entry- Change your environment

Tomorrow I have campus and that means going back into town. 5 years back I would have been really nervous about it but now I am kind of used to it. Sometimes it's not nice being in one area for a long time. And I have noticed that when I'm out of my house it leaves me no time to sit and think. 

I saw this video of this sage named Sadguru, he is one of the worlds most famous gurus, and in this YouTube video he narrated a story about sages or gurus. He said that Sages, mostly Buddhis, are not allowed to stay in one house for more that one day or 24 hours. This got me thinking. Why did they do this? I think because when you stay in one environment for to long your mind becomes restless and this causes your mind to think about the same things over and over again. 

So if you are feeling down. Take a walk. Go to the mall or a park Or even your own garden. This will help a lot because I have done it and have seen the results.
